“We’re going to try Soro instead, it’s only $39 a month.”
Soro is a content generator, not an AI visibility platform. At $39 a month it writes articles and publishes them, and that is the whole product. It can’t show you which AI answers mention your brand, it doesn’t optimize your site to get cited, it has no go-to-market strategy, no unified analytics, and no view of which AI bots crawl you. Reaudit does all of that, and writes the content too. Publishing blind isn’t visibility, it’s hope.
Why this comes up
A prospect told us they’re going with Soro at $39 a month. Their plan: try it, and if it doesn’t work, come back to us. Totally fair. At that price it is an easy thing to test.
But it helps to be clear about what you are testing. Soro is a content creation tool. It writes articles and posts them. That is a real job, and a cheap one, but it is not the same job as AI search visibility.
What the evidence shows
Content is an input, not the outcome. Writing more articles tells you nothing about whether ChatGPT, Google AI, or Perplexity actually mention your brand, or what they say when they do. Soro publishes and stops there.
Here is what a content-only tool leaves out, and what Reaudit does instead: it tracks which AI answers name you and your competitors, optimizes your pages and schema to get cited, builds the go-to-market strategy behind the content, unifies your analytics, and shows you which AI bots are crawling your site. The content is one step inside a loop, not the loop.
So by all means try Soro. Just measure the thing that matters while you do. If nothing is tracking whether your AI visibility moved, then trying it and seeing if it works isn’t a test, it’s a guess.
The lesson
Price is only a bargain if you’re buying the right thing. A $39 content generator and an AI visibility platform are not cheaper and pricier versions of one product. They do different jobs.
Before you swap a platform for a point tool, ask what you’ll be able to see afterward. If the cheaper option can’t tell you whether you got more visible, it can’t tell you whether it worked. Content you can’t measure is content you’re publishing on faith.
